Since I have been talking about car seats, I figured I would keep with the theme and discuss the convertible seat. This is the one car seat that is an absolute must have baby thing. Once your baby has reached the height or weight limit for the infant seat you are going to have to switch to the convertible seat.
As I mentioned in an earlier post one type of car seat is the infant car seat. While it is possible to put a newborn in a convertible car seat and skip using the infant car seat all together, I strongly advise against it. I do think the infant car seat is an important baby thing!
Every baby is required to have a car seat. In fact most hospitals today will not let you take the baby home until they see you have a car seat. There are three types of cars seats. They are infant car seats, convertible car seats and booster car seats. Today I am going to give you a brief overview of what each is. My next couple of posts will discuss them individually in more detail.
