Baby Exersaucer, Is it a Good Investement?

When my oldest son was about 5 months old we purchased a baby exersaucer. The first few days he just was not sure what to make of it. After he figured out that he could actually spin around in a circle and play with the toys on it he was hooked. I put him in it almost every time I had to cook from about 5 months of age until about 10 months of age. After that he had gotten to tall for it.

When baby number two was about 4 1/2 months old the exersaucer came back out. He absolutely loved it as well. It was a big hit with all three of my kids. I really think that during the time that they were allowed to use it, it was probably their favorite toy. They just seemed to get so much enjoyment out of it. I enjoyed it as well because I could do a couple of things and know that they could not get into trouble.

I would definitely recommend getting a baby exersaucer.  Babies really seem to enjoy them.  My one suggestion would be to check out the height limit on them before you buy and purchase the one that has the tallest limit.  I did not realize that they came with different restrictions and was very disappointed at how quickly my children became too tall for it.  Also, make sure that you do not put your baby in it until they have good head control, usually about 5 months old.  You do not want him/her to get hurt while bouncing around in the exersaucer.
