Baby Bargains! One Terrific Book!

One morning when I was pregnant with my first I was watching The Today Show.  They were doing a segment on this book called, “Baby Bargains” written by Denise and Alan Fields.  It is a book that rates the different brands for just about any baby product you can think of and compares prices.  The authors are a couple who have gone around the country checking out all the different baby products that they could find.  They really look at the quality and safety values for the price and them rate them in their book, so that you can get good safe products for your baby and not spend a fortune.

I purchased this book a couple of weeks before my husband and I went to register.  I really studied the book and then would look up their recommendations on other sites.  I would check sites like “Consumers Report”, parenting websites and opinions from others.  They were really right on in this book.  It made my decisions so much easier when it came to picking out the important products like the crib and the car seats.  I felt at ease that I was using high quality and safe products, and I did not have to spend absurd amounts of money.

The book is updated every couple of years so that they can keep up to date with all of the latest baby products.  I have recommended this book to each of my friends when they have become pregnant.  In fact when I had my other two children I purchased the newest versions so that I knew that I was getting the best products out there.  “Baby Bargains is definitely money well spent, especially since it will save you a lot in the long run!
